About the Fair

Welcome to the PSUSD Science Fair website.

It's nearly time for the Fifteenth Annual Home-Educated Students' Science Fair! Any homeschooled, K-12th student, regardless of race, creed, color, or religion, in Riverside, San Bernardino, Inyo, or Mono counties in Southern California is welcome to participate in this fair on February 17th, 2007. Students enrolled in small private schools in the four counties are also welcome to attend as long as their schools are not participants in RIMS county fair. All projects must follow the Scientific Method. A special division for Collections is also included.

New this year! Now seven of our top winners will go on to compete with public-schooled students at the RIMS Inland Science and Engineering Fair at the Orange Show fairgrounds. Top winners from there go on to compete with students from around the state at the California State Science Fair in Los Angeles.

PSUSD has been fortunate to have at least one winner at the county level, from our fair, continue on to the State Fair each year since we have participated with the county fair. We believe that the quality of the education received and the dedication of the students involved has given our fair very high quality projects. And we would like to invite you to participate with us.

All Students will receive a participation award.
